Sidewalk Ricardo & Riviera

Kleberg County was awarded two (2) Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) – Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) Grants for the incorporated communities of Ricardo and Riviera.

Scope Of Work:

The Ricardo Project consisted of 1,030 linear feet of sidewalk of County Road 2160 West to Wagner Avenue in the amount of $313,872.00. The Riviera project consisted of 1,040 linear feet of sidewalk from Willow Street to 9th Street in the amount of $386.476.00. TRIMAD was contracted along with Garcia Infrastructure Consultants (GIC) by Kleberg County for data collection services which include the preparation of CAD file for approximately 1,625 linear feet for the Ricardo work site and approximately 2,500 linear feet of the Riviera work site. A topographic survey was conducted for right-of-way (ROW) and to set the property benchmarks. TRIMAD was assigned to locate the existing right-of-way (ROW). The scope of work included research and relevant data collection, design plans, topographic data collection, and construction phase services.

Impact :

The purpose was to assist Kleberg County in developing finalized design, plans, and specifications for the TxDOT Transportation Alternative Sidewalk Projects for unincorporated communities of Ricardo and Riviera.
