Subdivision Standards Manual
The Subdivision Standard Manual project was prepared to assist engineers, planners and architects during the development of infrastructure improvements in public right of way by specifying design standards. The manual will serve as a comprehensive guide to the planning, designing, and development of subdivisions within San Juan. Sections worked in the manual include: development requirements, submittal and plan requirements, off-street parking and loading requirements, drainage policy, streets and roadways, water improvements, wastewater improvements, traffic control operations, solid waste/recycle details, drainage and erosion control details, paving, water, wastewater, and traffic details. This process involved meetings with City staff on review of key background materials, community and then layout out a recommended format, content, and organization of the new Subdivision Standards Manual.
